interpretation services

To support a positive conference experience for all attendees, individuals requiring language interpretation services may utilize personal interpretation tools during conference workshops and sessions. Attendees using these services are responsible for providing their own devices, headsets, and any associated service subscriptions or fees.

  • Headsets must be used at all times while utilizing interpretation services in conference sessions to minimize disruption to presenters and fellow attendees.

Interpretation services and devices may not interfere with session audio, audiovisual equipment, presenter materials, conference recording policies, or the overall attendee experience. Use of interpretation services does not authorize recording, transcription, capture, storage, distribution, or reproduction of session content beyond what is otherwise permitted under conference policies.

Conference staff reserves the right to address disruptions, policy violations, or safety concerns as needed.

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference center; however, attendees are responsible for ensuring their devices, applications, and interpretation services function properly.

  • The Conference is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party interpretation or translation services utilized by attendees.

Attendees are responsible for ensuring that any interpretation or translation service they use complies with applicable confidentiality, privacy, organizational, agency, and legal requirements.

  • Live, in-person interpreters are not permitted inside conference workshops, plenary sessions, or educational programming. Attendees requiring language interpretation services should utilize personal interpretation tools and devices.

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and other approved accessibility accommodations may be arranged in advance through conference management.

Attendees requiring accessibility accommodations are encouraged to contact the conference team as early as possible prior to the conference at conference@dcac.org so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed and coordinated.
