Become a Dallas Conference Ambassador Are you an old pro? Have you been to the Dallas Conference for years and love to spread the word about it anyway? Now’s your chance to cash in on your good will!
Help us spread the word about the internationally-recognized Dallas Crimes Against Children Conference. If you are directly responsible for encouraging five never-before-attended (or haven’t attended in the last three years) conference participants, you can be named a Dallas Conference Ambassador.
What are the Benefits?
- Be recognized at the conference with a blue ribbon attached to your nametag. The blue ribbon gains you early admittance to the Wednesday night party along with our purple ribbon-holding VIPs (sponsors, partners and honored guests); this means you can secure a table and ride the bull without waiting in a long line!
- Be placed in a drawing to win a new iPad. Ambassadors with the highest number of attendees will be eligible for an additional special drawing.
How Do You Sign Up?
- Send an email to conference@dcac.org to let us know that you want to be a Conference Ambassador. Put Conference Ambassador in the subject line of your email.
- Tell everyone you know about the conference, and ask anyone who is new to the conference to use your name during the registration process. Attendees MUST list your name in the question that asks: Did a Conference Ambassador ask you to use his/her name when registering?
- We will send you an email that you can blast out to your friends/colleagues and/or a supply of Save the Date cards. You can affix a label to the Save the Date cards to encourage the use of your name when registering.
- After August 1, we will check our records to verify whether or not those referred by you are actually new to the conference (or haven't attended in the last three years).
- We will alert you just before the conference if your name has been used at least five times in the registration process so that you know to expect a blue ribbon on your badge!
- Enjoy the conference, and show up to the party early with the VIPs (at 6:30 PM).
