Provider: Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and the Dallas Police Department, Dallas, Texas

The 22nd Annual Crimes Against Children Conference has applied for or is an approved course for continuing professional education credit from the organizations listed.

Your attendance must be documented as indicated below. Each attendee should claim only those credit hours actually spent in the education activity.  Attendees are responsible for reporting the credit hours to his/her accrediting agency except as noted.  Total available CEUs for the 22nd Annual Crimes Against Children Conference are 19.5 hours.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) 19.5 MCLE hours is approved by the State Bar of Texas.  Participants must sign-in and provide their bar number.  The course number for the conference is 901205904; the sponsor number is 3566.  For specific information about the MCLE procedures, call State Bar of Texas at 800-204-2222 x1806.

National Association of Social Workers (NASW) This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #886499330) for 20.5 continuing education contact hours. For specific NASW procedures or questions, please call 202-408-8600 x295.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Participants should mail a copy of their Conference Certificate to NBCC, 3 Terrace Way, Greensboro, NC 27403 when re-certifying.  The NBCC approval number is #SP-1806.  For specific NBCC procedures, call 336-547-0607.

TCLEOSE credit for Texas peace officers will be awarded.  Texas peace officers should include their TCLEOSE information during the registration process. However, Texas peace officers are required to sign-in every day of the conference.  No partial credit will be submitted if you fail to sign in.  Out of state officers should submit their certificate to their agency for credit.

Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (LPC) Licensed Professional Counselors are required by board rule to maintain records of all certificates of participation of continuing education training.  Counselors should keep Conference Certificate on file for 3 years in case of audit.  The Crimes Against Children Conference has submitted an application for approval of 19.5 hours of credit.  For specific LPC Board procedures, call 512-834-6658.

Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners Provider approval is received from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners, provider #1322.  Social Workers should keep their Conference Certificate on file for 3 years in case of an audit.  For specific Social Worker Examiner procedures, call 512-834-6658.

Please NOTE: Participants who completed the Attendance Verification Form for CME will be receiving a certificate by mail reflecting their AMA PRA Category 1 or Participation credits within the next 2-4 weeks.
